(WFIE) - The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is looking ahead to the new school year, and school leaders want parent feedback to help them do it. EVSC officials sent an email to parents asking them to fill out a form. Parents were asked to list what they liked about the past school year, what they would like to see next year, as well as any other concerns they may have.

(WFIE) - A unique program with Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is the newest non-traditional pathway to graduation in Indiana. The RAMP Program, otherwise known as “Real-World Application; Maximizing Potential,” is a work-based program that puts EVSC students in a real-world job at AmeriQual Foods. With pathway approval, RAMP allows students an alternative route to complete their education, spending half of the day in class and the other half working.

(WFIE) - Tuesday morning was signing day at Reitz High School but not for athletes. This day was for students committing to the workforce post-graduation. “It’s exciting, this is our step to the future. I’m excited to get out of high school and ready to go to work,” Kenton Kissel, a Reitz High School senior shared. Kenton Kissel is one of 32 Reitz high schoolers who signed with their future employers Tuesday morning.
