Bond has been set at $50,000 cash only for a 41-year-old Sedalia man who has been charged with drug-related felonies after a traffic stop in Saline County on Saturday, February 6.
According to a probable-cause statement, the law-enforcement officer says he located a pillow case in the bed of the truck. Inside the pillowcase was an overnight bag that contained a syringe plunger cap; a digital scale; a glove; and a clear plastic bag containing another clear plastic bag. Upon inspection of the bag, it contained a knotted corner bag. The contents- including what appeared to be white napkins- of the Ziploc bag were wet and tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine. After asking if he had anything on his person, the driver was searched once at the jail, and three small bags and a folded dollar bill fell out of the suspect’s pants pocket.
