A Boonville man who was facing a couple of felonies after a reported incident on July 23 has had the charges amended. According to the a police report, authorities were contacted regarding a domestic assault in New Franklin. A woman told authorities she was at home in bed sleeping with her bedroom door locked at 10 a.m. She heard Tristan Rhorer in her house and told him to get out; he was not invited because they had broken up when he was in prison. Rhorer refused to leave and kicked open the bedroom door, grabbed the woman and began hitting her in the face and throwing her around the room. Rhorer told the woman he wanted her keys and two handguns. The woman would not give them to him, so Rhorer grabbed her and threw her against the wall; hit her several more times in her face; had his hands around her neck; stomped on her left foot; and took the keys to her car and house.
