Survitec Completes £270 Million Refinancing In Private Debt Market
Global safety solutions leader Survitec announced today that it has completed a £270 million refinancing with funds managed or advised by the Credit Group of Ares Management Corporation (“Ares”), a leading global alternative investment manager.
Ray Leclercq, Survitec’s Chief Financial Officer said, “Successfully concluding this financing demonstrates the confidence we believe that Ares and M&G have in our business. This marks a key milestone for Survitec’s customers, employees, shareholders and other partners. We completed this financing with an industry leader such as Ares based on the strength of our underlying business, meeting our current performance targets with year-over-year improvement in profitability as well as our growth plans for the coming years.”
Ares Pathfinder fund raises $3.7 billion, nearly doubling target
Ares Management closed its Ares Pathfinder Fund at $3.7 billion, a news release said Tuesday.
The alternative credit fund closed well above its fundraising target of $2 billion. We see distinct similarities between today s alternative credit market and the corporate direct-lending market of 10 years ago, said Kipp deVeer, partner and head of the Ares Credit Group, in the news release. We have strong conviction that there is a sizable and growing market to make attractive investments in this important asset class and we intend to continue to invest time, capital and resources to support this growth, he said.
Pretium, an alternative investment management firm, and
funds managed by Ares Management, have closed on their $2.4 billion acquisition
of Front Yard Residential, making Pretium the second-largest owner and operator
of single-family rental properties in the U.S.
As a result, Pretium now has more than 55,000 SFRs. It will
manage the venture and partner with Ares to further expand Front Yard’s
portfolio of assets.
“There is significant opportunity in the SFR market and
a clear sense of urgency among institutional investors to deploy capital to
this asset class given record-high occupancy rates, stable cash-flow
characteristics, and potential for continued capital appreciation,” said
