MIL-OSI Security: Investigation following death of man in Hounslow

Source: United Kingdom London Metropolitan Police At approximately 00:05hrs on Tuesday, 20 April officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Powder Mill Lane in Twickenham. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit commenced. A short while later a male decamped from the vehicle and ran onto a nearby railway line off Whitton Road in Hounslow. The London Ambulance Service attended and he was pronounced dead at 00:22hrs. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. The Independent Office for Police Conduct has been informed and has declared an independent investigation.  The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has also been informed.

MIL-OSI Security: Appeal for information about missing man who could be in Essex

Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a man from east London. Hussam Bashraheil was last seen in the Poplar area on Thursday, 14 January. The 21-year-old was reported missing in February. Officers from the Central East Missing Persons Unit are carrying out enquiries and believe he could have travelled to the Theydon Bois area of Essex on Saturday, 30 January. Hussam’s picture is a good representation of how he would look now, but he also may have now grown facial hair. Detective Constable Amanda Lloyd, said: “Hussam’s family are understandably concerned about his disappearance, which is completely out of character.

Source: United Kingdom London Metropolitan Police Three men have been charged after a woman was left with life-changing injuries following a shooting in east London. Police were called at 20:52hrs on 22 November 2020 to reports of a shooting in Westgate Street, Hackney. A 32-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she continues to receive treatment. [E] Akile Lee-Walton, 23 (11.02.98), of Pemberton Road, N4, was charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
