McMichael, II passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday morning, his family said. McMichael led the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office from 1989 until 1993. He then was appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve as the United States Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia. McMichael is a 1960 graduate of Luther Judson Price High School, a 1964 graduate of Morehouse College where he received his B.A., and a 1981 graduate of Woodrow Wilson Law School at Princeton University, where he received his J.D. He completed extensive training at the Atlanta Police Academy and the Georgia Police Academy.

Avalos-Gallardo escaped from the Nevada Department of Corrections (formerly known as the Department of Prisons) in February 1994, while part of an NDF fire crew. In 1992, Gallardo then 24 was driving while intoxicated when he drove onto the interstate ramp in the wrong direction hitting another vehicle head-on, according to authorities.

WHIZ News Eight charged in Muskingum County Drug Investigation ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A Muskingum County Grand Jury indicted eight individuals after a long-term investigation that started in 2019, involving effort from several local, state and federal agencies.  Authorities say the investigation began in 2019 when members of the Muskingum County/Zanesville City Joint Drug Unit found out about a group of individuals from Columbus  who had moved to the Zanesville area with the intention to sell methamphetamine and fentanyl.  Approximately 30 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 2 pounds of fentanyl were seized during the investigation along with 13 firearms and $9,000 in cash. “When you look at these charges, and you look at the first felonies, the number of first felonies that are involved in this case, involving a pattern of corrupt activity, it basically shows the public that this case involves a large group of people dealing with a high volume amount of drugs,” Muskingum

Daniel Moss SIOUX CITY A Fort Dodge man has pleaded guilty to methamphetamine conspiracy and illegal weapons charges in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa. Daniel Moss, 45, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and the illegal possession of a firearm on Monday. Moss admitted to conspiring to distribute more than 50 grams of pure meth in the Fort Dodge area from June 2020 through July 5, 2020. On July 5, 2020, he was involved in a hit and run collision with another vehicle, fled the scene and led Fort Dodge Police officers on a pursuit. Officers caught Moss that same day and he assaulted a police officer and a loaded handgun fell from his waistband. The firearm was later determined to be stolen.
