BENTON HARBOR, MI – Seven Michigan residents stole more than $250,000 from Walmart across 35 states, a federal indictment alleges.
Elisha Vary, of Jackson, and Adarius Ferguson, Christopher Campbell, Joshawn Wilson, Tipton Lamar Walker, Jaylen Sulton and Marquis Davis, all from Benton Harbor, face numerous felony charges.
They are accused of stealing more than $250,000 from Walmart between January 2019 and April 2021, according to a grand jury indictment filed May 4 in the United States District Court Western District.

Investigators said Mason filed more than 40 fraudulent claims during the course of the scheme. He used his relationship with a Michigan unemployment employee to process the fraudulent claims through the state’s system, according to authorities.
He received more than $300,000 in the scheme and would have made more than $800,000 if he hadn’t been caught, federal officials said.

A federal grand jury has indicted Renul Barnet Forbes, a/k/a “Michael Renul,” “Breion Jones,” and “Bree Jones,” age 32, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, on the federal charges of false personation of a federal officer and possession of a fraudulently made government seal. The indictment was returned on March 25, 2021 and was unsealed at his initial appearance on May 3, 2021.
The indictment was announced by Acting United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Jonathan F. Lenzner; Special Agent in Charge Timothy Jones of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Baltimore Field Division; U.S. Marshal for the District of Maryland Johnny Hughes; and Anne Arundel County Police Chief Amal Awad.

Jason Levi Miller, 39, of Bonham was arrested Monday morning in Valley, Nebraska by the Metro Fugitive Task Force of the United States Marshals Service out of Omaha, Nebraska. Miller has been on the Top Ten Most Wanted list of the Sherman Police Department for several years. Miller has outstanding warrants for four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
A statement from the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office said its Criminal Investigator Don Tran, who serves as a Task Force officer with the U.S. Marshals Service, has been working tirelessly to located Miller and was successful in that endeavor last week. Miller will be transported to the Grayson County Jail shortly.
