Fugitive wanted in attempted murder of man at N.J. boat dealership captured, prosecutor says

Donald Rutter, 61, of Tuckerton was charged with the attempted murder of the 55-year-old Little Egg Harbor resident, as well weapons-related offenses on Jan. 6, one day after the shooting occurred, and had been on the run since that time, according to a statement from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
On Jan. 5, the Little Egg Harbor police were called to Jarvis Marine on Radio Road after someone dialed 911 and reported that a man had been shot there, the office said. When they arrived, they found that the man had been shot in the midsection, authorities said.

MACON, Ga. (WALB) - An indictment was unsealed Thursday charging 11 people in a 136-count federal indictment including alleged violations of drug conspiracy, drug distribution, drug possession with the intent to distribute, drug possession, as well as violations of the dogfighting prohibitions of the federal Animal Welfare Act.
Acting U.S. Attorney Peter D. Leary of the Middle District of Georgia and Acting Assistant Attorney General Jean Williams issued the statement for the U.S. Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division.

Howard Community College (HCC) will host a series of virtual lectures showcasing social sciences faculty on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. during the months of February and March. Faculty will speak on their areas of expertise, covering such timely topics as American politics, sex and gender, culture, the Fourth Amendment, and de-escalation techniques in policing. Each lecture includes time for questions from participants.

The United States Marshals Service is asking the public for
help in locating Travis Randall Kirkendall, wanted on 12 warrants, ranging from
possession of a controlled substance to burglary.
The Marshals Service is offering a $2,500 reward for
any information leading to the arrest of Kirkendall. He is believed to be in
St. Joseph or the surrounding area. Kirkendall is described as a
white male, 6’4″ tall; 225 pounds; blue eyes and brown hair.
