Person hit by train between Lincoln and Sleaford
Disruption until 6pm
Rail services between Lincoln Central and Sleaford are disrupted after a person was hit by a train.
It happened at around 4pm on Friday, January 8.
Trains are currently unable to run between Lincoln Central and Peterborough via Sleaford.
Some trains may be diverted, and not call at Metheringham, Ruskington, Sleaford or Spalding.
Disruption on East Midlands Railway services is expected until 6pm.

2,239 COVID-19 cases, 82 deaths in Greater Lincolnshire in first week of 2021

There have been 2,239 new coronavirus cases and 82 COVID-related deaths in Greater Lincolnshire in the first week of 2021 – compared to 1,877 cases and 109 deaths in the first week of December.
Some 435 new cases and 20 deaths were reported in Greater Lincolnshire on Friday.
The government’s COVID-19 dashboard recorded 353 new cases in Lincolnshire, 45 in North Lincolnshire and 37 in North East Lincolnshire.
On Friday, 14 deaths were registered in Lincolnshire, five in North Lincolnshire and one in North East Lincolnshire. These figures include deaths both in and out of hospitals, as well as residents in hospitals outside the county.
