A 12-year-old boy is in hospital with potentially life changing injuries after he was knocked down by a hit and run driver in Caistor.
Lincolnshire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage.
The boy is believed to have been struck by a vehicle while crossing Grimsby Road, at around 9.50pm on Wednesday evening (April 28).
The vehicle did not stop at the scene.
Eyewitnesses have reported seeing a dark-coloured car at the time, possibly a BMW, which drove up the hill and out of the town.
10th day in a row with no COVID-19 hospital deaths in Greater Lincolnshire

Wednesday has marked the 10th day in a row where no COVID-related hospital deaths have been reported at any of the four Greater Lincolnshire health trusts.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust (ULHT), Lincolnshire Community Health Service, Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG) hospitals have seen no change in the number of coronavirus-related deaths on April 28, which currently stands at 1,303 since the pandemic started.
The last time there was a hospital death was one at ULHT over the weekend of April 17/18. Since then, none have been recorded.

56 coronavirus cases and two deaths in Greater Lincolnshire on Wednesday

There have been 56 new coronavirus cases and two COVID-related deaths in Greater Lincolnshire on Wednesday compared to 51 cases and two deaths this time last week.
The government’s COVID-19 dashboard recorded 30 cases in North Lincolnshire, 22 in Lincolnshire and four in North East Lincolnshire.
On Wednesday, two deaths were registered in Lincolnshire, none in North East Lincolnshire but -1 in North Lincolnshire. Fluctuations in data can occur for a variety of reasons including corrected data, misdiagnoses or wrong addresses. These figures include deaths both in and out of hospitals, as well as residents in hospitals outside the county.
Group of youths smash bottles and cause damage at Lincoln leisure centre

A large group of youths allegedly smashed a lot of glass bottles on the 3G pitch at the Birchwood Leisure Centre.
The incident happened at 4pm on Saturday, April 24 and on the same evening mopeds were seen to be abusing the area.
Police said this has resulted in £1,500 being spent to clean up the site, which is managed by Active Nation, so that it can be made safe for the local community.
