The United Way Heartland Region is starting the process for the 2022 campaign year. Last years pledge goal was reached even with the difficulties of the pandemic. The first step for the new campaign year is the grant application process as we hear from CEO of Heartland Region United Way, Jen Bragg.

Each year presents challenges for the United Way Heartland Region. This campaign year faced a challenge of a pandemic and keeping pledges active with past years contributions. The goal was reduced to $275,000 due to reduced need from some past program recipients in light of Covid-19 precautions. As the campaign nears the goal each year it still presents some anxiety according to CEO of the United Way Heartland Region Jen Bragg.

The United Way Heartland Region is moving closer to reaching their goal for this years drive. Funds raised for the united Way are used to support their partner agencies. Jen Bragg executive director for the United way gives us the update.
