January 21, 2021 Each year presents challenges for the United Way Heartland Region.  This campaign year faced a challenge of a pandemic and keeping pledges active with past years contributions.  The goal was reduced to $275,000 due to reduced need from some past program recipients in light of Covid-19 precautions.  As the campaign nears the goal each year it still presents some anxiety according to CEO of the United Way Heartland Region Jen Bragg.
