A metro Boys and Girls Club is closing one of its locations for the rest of the summer because of a rise in COVID-19 cases.The location near NE 36th and MLK was affected.Some of the kids at that location tested positive for COVID-19. Officials said they found out Wednesday night. They said that day they were having a career exploration day, with about 50 to 60 kids there. Most of them will be quarantined and the location will be closed until school starts. “After consulting with the Oklahoma City-County Health Department, they felt it was best to ask the kids to quarantine and that quarantine would coincide with the end of our summer program,” President and CEO Teena Belcik said. She said this is the first time in months that they’ve seen a positive case.“We have followed every protocol, every precaution every recommendation from both the CDC and the Oklahoma City-County Health Department and we ve been very fortunate for 16 months certainly back in December, January we
