SmokeHouse Distribution in Commerce Township has been ordered to make a one-time $2,000 payment to Nessel s office to cover investigation costs while also assuring that it will not sell or advertise face masks for medical or COVID-19 protection purposes, according to a news release issued Monday.

Ferndale man who allegedly recorded women undressing now charged with child pornography Tyler Tierney Advertisement FERNDALE A Ferndale man who previously was charged for allegedly recording women undressing in secret now faces additional charges of allegedly possessing child pornography. Tyler Tierney was arraigned Dec. 14 in the 43rd District Court on five new charges related to his current case, which had been bound over to the Oakland County Circuit Court. He was arraigned on four counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. Tierney originally was arrested in November on five counts of surveilling an unclothed person, each a five-year felony. The crimes allegedly took place at a Ferndale home in July. He is accused of secretly recording five different women undressing in the home.
