The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, has commiserated with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, over the death of his son, Dare.
Gbajabiamila said it is painful for a father to lose his child at any point in time, saying the younger Adeboye lived a life full of worship to the Lord and service to humanity.
The Speaker recalled how Dare took after his father in the work of God and rose to become one of the leading youth pastors in RCCG.
Gbajabiamila expressed sadness over the loss of such a “promising young man”.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and a former
President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, on Thursday, commiserated with the General
Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, over
the death of his son, Dare.
The message read, “My thoughts and prayers are with the
family of @PastorEAAdeboye in this trying time.
“I pray that God, in this trying time, will comfort and
strengthen him and his family by God’s grace.”
Saraki also wrote via his Twitter handle, @bukolasaraki: “My
family and I send our heartfelt condolences and prayers to @PastorEAAdeboye,
Nigeria’s former President, Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, over the death of his son, Pastor Dare.
In a condolence message, in Abuja on Thursday, Jonathan expressed sadness over the passing of the pastor, describing him as a much-loved clergyman.
The former president noted that the late man of God lived a life that was a pattern of good works and prayed to God to grant his soul eternal rest.
He said: “Though I never knew Pastor Dare personally, I have had cause to meet his father, Pastor Adeboye, and it would seem that the apple did not fall far from the tree.

The Governor of Ondo State Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, on Thursday described the death of Dare, son of the General-Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, as a huge loss to Christendom.
While commiserating with Pastor Adeboye over the loss of his son, Akeredolu described the death of late Pastor Dare, who was a Regional Youth Evangelist as big blow for any father to take.
According to Akeredolu, that late Dare whose death was sudden, was a promising servant of God considering the role of the deceased in youth mentorship.
Akeredolu, who condoled with our Pastor E.A Adeboye, and the entire family of RCCG over the irreplaceable loss, urged the General Overseer to take solace in the words of God.
