CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Multiple law enforcement agencies collaborated in a child exploitation investigation that resulted in the arrest of a Tuscarawas County man.
According to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, Chad Robert Ryan was arrested on Saturday after he arrived to a location thinking that he arranged to pay $1,000 in exchange for sex with a woman and her 14-year-old daughter.
The 44-year-old man was charged with compelling prostitution, attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and possessing criminal tools; all felony crimes.

OHIO A Dover man suspected of trying to pay a woman and her underage daughter for sex was arrested Saturday in Columbiana County, according to authorities.
The man, 44-year-old Chad Robert Ryan, was arrested after an investigation by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force found he intended to pay the woman and minor for sex, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said in a news release.
He was charged with compelling prostitution, a third degree felony; attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth degree felony; and possessing criminal tools, a fifth degree felony.

Arrest Made in Human Trafficking Case
A Tuscarawas County man is under arrest for felony charges following an investigation by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said 44-year-old Chad Robert Ryan, of Dover, was arrested May 8 and charged with compelling prostitution, attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and possessing criminal tools.
The Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, created under the attorney general’s Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission, became aware of Ryan’s intentions to purchase sex with a mother and underage daughter. With assistance from the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Investigative Unit, the task force investigated and ultimately arrested Ryan in Columbiana County.
