Cleveland woman waives preliminary hearing for felony drug charges The Daily Jeffersonian The case against a Cleveland woman facing multiple drug-related felony charges was bound over to the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court after she waived her right to a preliminary hearing. Samantha C. Paizs, 35,  faces single counts of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of heroin, second-degree felonies, and possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, filed March 25 in the Cambridge Municipal Court. She remains incarcerated in the Guernsey County Jail on a $100,000 bond with no 10% allowed. Paizs suffered an apparent overdose during a traffic stop initiated by a State Highway Patrol trooper on Interstate 77. She was treated at Southeastern Med and released prior to being taken to jail.
