Two duck hunters were rescued Tuesday afternoon after they were stranded on an island near Little Egg Inlet in Brigantine, officials said.
The Coast Guard Sector Delaware received a call from Sea Tow, an international marine assistance provider, around 3 p.m. stating that the hunters were not able to recover their boat after they got off on the island, according to a release from the U.S. Coast Guard. Sea Tow was unable to reach them due to the shallow water around the island.
