LITTLE EGG HARBOR – An Atlantic County man has been arrested after making terroristic threats to Pinelands Regional High School over Snapchat, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Frankie Caserta, 21, of Pleasantville, was taken in custody on Wednesday, May 26, and charged with three counts of terroristic threats, according to officials.
The school contacted township police on May 25 after a student reported that a user on the social media app made threats against two students as well as the school itself, authorities said.
An investigation found that an account named “Buddah Caserta” sent messages to two students threatening them with physical harm in addition to sending a group message that said gang members were going to shoot up the school, officials said.

LAKEWOOD – A township man and his nephew were indicted by a grand jury Tuesday for a 2019 murder in Howell, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Omar Rivera-Rojas, also known as Juan Carlos Rivera-Rojas, 31, and Alberto Rojas-Hernandez, 19, face charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and tampering with evidence related to the alleged homicide of 33-year-old Lakewood resident Domingo Merino-Rafael.
