Somerset man arrested on drug charge

By Christopher Harris Commonwealth Journal Jan 25, 2021 Bobby Joe Inman, II, A Somerset man was arrested Monday on a drug-related charge following following a weeklong drug investigation that ended with the service of a search warrant at the Loveless Lane residence. According to the Pulaski County Sheriff s Office, Bobby Joe Inman II, 30, of Loveless Lane was taken into custody and lodged at the Pulaski County Detention Center. Lieutenant Daryll Kegley of the Sheriff s Narcotics Division, assisted by Deputy Trent Massey, Sergeant Cody Cundiff, and the Lake Cumberland Area Drug Task Force, served a search warrant at Loveless Lane, where they located Inman, illegal drugs, and items usually associated with the sale of drugs, according to the sheriff s office.

Deputy Mike Sheedy responded to Blarney Drive on Monday, Jan. 25 in regard to a criminal mischief complaint.  After speaking with the complainant, an information report was generated and will be forwarded to the criminal investigation division. Deputy Mike Sheedy responded to County Road 551 on Monday, Jan. 25 at approximately 11:05 p.m. This was in regard to a theft call. After investigation, an information report was generated for the theft and possible mental health issues. On Monday, Jan. 25, Deputy Toby Mathis, received information that an individual was in the area of Ave H and 1st Street. A traffic stop was conducted on a white Ford pickup leaving the area. The individual was found in the backseat of the vehicle and arrested for the two active warrants. The individual was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Tampering of Physical Evidence, and Possession of Marijuana.   

Yearlong Investigation Ends in Prosecution of 23 Sweetwater County Residents

SWEETWATER COUNTY As a result of this nearly yearlong investigation, and the following court proceedings, the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office, with the assistance from local law enforcement, successfully disrupted, dismantled and prosecuted 23 Sweetwater County local, drug users and distributers, residing in Green River and Rock Springs, Wyoming. In addition, four out-of-state suppliers of heroin and methamphetamine, were identified, charged and prosecuted for their roles in supplying large quantities of controlled substances into the Sweetwater County area. Furthermore, the identification and disruption of this Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO), not only impacted the communities resting in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, it positively impacted areas in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Phoenix, Arizona.
