(WFIE) - Police say a traffic stop on Sunday led to two people receiving multiple charges. According to the Henderson Police Department, officers located a car matching the description of a vehicle that was previously reported stolen in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. Police say the officers pulled over the driver, idenitified as Cory Clark, on the 2500 block of U.S. Route 41 North. When police searched the vehicle, officers say they found multiple needles, suspected drugs (synthetic marijuana and methamphetamine) and a handgun.

GREEN RIDGE MAN SCHEDULED FOR HEARING ON JANUARY 26

A 29-year-old Green Ridge man facing multiple felony charges following the execution of several search warrants last year has a court proceeding set for later this month. According to a report from the Sedalia Police Department, on April 16, officers conducted a traffic stop of a suspect related to an ongoing drug investigation, and Samuel David Woolery II was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Investigators with the Sedalia Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, patrol officers and Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies served five search warrants at residences in Sedalia and Green Ridge, two storage units in Sedalia and the suspect’s vehicle nearly simultaneously.

UPDATE: MARSHALL MAN PLEADED GUILTY TO CHARGES INCLUDING RESISTING ARREST

A 41-year-old Marshall man has pleaded guilty to felonies he was facing following a high-speed pursuit and subsequent location of drug-related items in the vehicle on September 2. On September 2, 2020 a Saline County deputy report, witnessed the suspect vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and running stop signs on multiple city streets. The suspect vehicle eventually came to a stop at the intersection of Benton and Vest, where the suspect exited the vehicle and ran. Aundra L. Butner initially resisted arrest, but eventually was taken into custody. Authorities seized $348 along with 13 grams of methamphetamine; and multiple drug related items.
