Harris County Constable deputies arrest woman suspected of stealing packages from homes
HOUSTON - Harris County Constable deputies arrested Diana Garcia, 23, for mail theft and possession of a controlled substance on Monday, Dec. 14.
Deputies responded to the 18700 block of Drexel Ridge Lane in Houston in reference to a female suspect who was following a Fed-Ex truck and stealing packages as they were being delivered.
The Harris County Constable Office says a witness observed the suspect and gave updates so the suspect could be apprehended.
Garcia was located at the 15000 block of Carraway Court and was found to be in possession of multiple stolen packages from several residences and 13.5 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.

AUSTIN, Texas - Two separate incidents led to several felony arrests in San Marcos over the weekend. Huge thanks to our officers for their hard work and diligent efforts to solve these crimes and keep our community safe, said Chief Stan Standridge in a press release detailing the arrests.
According to police, officers with the San Marcos Police Department were dispatched to the I Don t Know Bar on East Hopkins Street around 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 12 for an aggravated assault. Bar staff reportedly called the police and reported that a Hispanic male, later identified as Edward Eddie Rodriguez, Jr., 36, of Bertram, pulled a knife on the bouncer.

A handful of charges have been filed against the 19 year old suspect in an early morning shooting yesterday (5:45am Dec. 14, 2020) in rural Hughes County.
Information from the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office says Juan Manuel Pinela has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, Ingestion of a Controlled Substance, Zero Tolerance DUI, Failure to Report an Accident (traffic) and Driving While License Suspended.
Sheriff Darin Johnson says Pinela shot the 21 year old male victim in the chest with a handgun at Pinela’s residence in the northeastern part of the county. A 19 year old female witness called 911. The victim was taken by ambulance to Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre, then was air lifted to Sioux Falls with serious injuries.

Brandon Wayne Horton pled guilty to the felony offenses of Theft, Burglary of Building, Theft-Elderly Individual and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Shanna Lynn Willboren aka Shanna Lynn Willborn pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further the defendant pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
Michael Dwayne Smith, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

CORTLANDT, NY A Carmel man faces seven charges connected to larcenies from vehicles in Cortlandt, New York State police said.
Troopers from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Michael S. O Connor III, 25, on Dec. 15. At 4:28 a.m., troopers received a call of a suspicious person on Ridge Road. Responding troopers found and attempted to interview a man they found in the area, police said.
The man, later identified as Michael O Connor, ran from the approaching troopers, police alleged. After a short pursuit O Connor was located in a nearby wooded area and placed under arrest, police said.
