Police: Passed out felon had drugs, gun According to the police report: Officers were sent to the McDonald’s on Kemp Boulevard Wednesday morning to check welfare on a man. They found David Sorrells Jr. sleeping in the driver s seat of a truck and tried to wake him. The officers saw a handgun wedged between the seats and detained him. The handgun was identified as a Hi-Point model P380. A record check on the serial number showed the gun was not stolen.

On the afternoon of Wednesday October 2, a member of the Prince George RCMP located a stolen 2006 Ford F350 pickup truck being driven by one of the detachment’s most prolific offenders. Paul Daniel Shaw, a 29-year-old Prince George resident, was observed driving the vehicle along River Road. Shaw has an extensive history of stealing vehicles, ramming police vehicles and attempting to flee from police, according to police. As a result of his previous history with police, a spike belt was deployed on River Road near the Cameron Street Bridge. After driving over the spike belt, Shaw fail to stop for police and continued to drive for close to two kilometres before ramming a police vehicle on North Nechako Road.

A 30-year-old Boonville man will serve some jail time involvement in a traffic crash that involved injuries. On June 21, Spencer Paul Huffman was driving too fast for conditions around a curve and was on the wrong side the roadway without passing when the stolen SUV he was driving crashed into another vehicle. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, two juvenile occupants of the vehicle Huffman struck, were transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of injuries. Authorities say they located alcohol and numerous illegal drugs inside the stolen SUV. Huffman withdrew his not guilty plea and pleaded guilty to a felony for possession of a controlled substance. The State dismissed all other charges which included: a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Class D Felony for Stealing a Motor Vehicle, as well as Class E Felonies for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Causing Physical Injuries and Driving While Revoked or Suspended.

(KLKN)- On Tuesday, at about 8:11 p.m., LPD officers responded to the report of a disturbance on Madison Avenue. When they arrived, officers reported talking to neighbors who told them 25-year-old Jesse G. Adams had been pounding on the doors of residences and smashing a vehicle’s windshield with a shovel. As officers attempted arresting Adams, they say he ripped his arms away from them and disregarding orders to quit resisting. Instead, officers say Adams started pulling the hair of an officer, then wrapped his arm around the officer’s neck in an attempt to put them in a chokehold.
