Fifty-six more virus-related deaths and 111 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Monday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 424,999 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 4,534, the state health department said on Tuesday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 684, the state health department said.
As of Friday, 839,401 total vaccine doses have been administered and 969,660 total doses have been received by the state. More than 293,300 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations.
The state health department said the deaths occurred between Nov. 13, 2020 and Feb. 28, 2021. Two out of the 56 deaths happened in February and 24 out of the 56 happened in January, health officials said.
