Twenty-five more virus-related deaths and 406 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Tuesday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 444,288 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the provisional death count of virus-related deaths is at 8,093, the state health department said on Wednesday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 340 cases
, the state health department said.
As of April 7, 2,128,826 total vaccine doses have been administered and 1,085,194 prime doses have been given by the state. More than 705,800 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations.
About 205 Oklahomans are currently in acute care OSDH licensed facilities and eight are currently in other types of facilities due COVID-19.
