Doha: Qatar and People’s Republic of China has signed the protocol amending the agreement for the avoidance of double taxation and preventing financial evasions concerning income taxes between the two countries’ governments. The agreement was signed on March 10 at the General Tax Authority’s headquarters in Doha.

Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture yesterday revealed a wide-ranging programme comprising exhibitions, festivals, bilateral exchanges, and events to be held in both nations throughout the year.
The Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture program; which is a partnership between Qatar Museums (QM), the United States Embassy in Doha and the Embassy of Qatar in the United States; will feature virtual and in-person events, including exhibitions and installations of works by Qatari and American artists; events showcasing the music, film, and fashion of both countries; sporting events; culinary experiences; entrepreneurship, innovation, STEM, and business events; and educational programs.
