On person has been seriously injured in a crash in the Wellington suburb of Karori. A police spokesperson confirmed they were called to the scene of the single-vehicle crash around 2.30 on Friday afternoon. It took place on Karori Road, between Standen St and Nottingham St. A spokesperson for Wellington free Ambulance confirmed one patient was transported to Wellington Hospital with serious injuries.

Police are seeking the public’s help in relation to Operation Skyline, the homicide investigation into the death of Rau Tongia.
Police believe Rau died at around 4:30am on Sunday 20 December at a Percy Dyett Drive property. We were notified at 8:30am that he had been found deceased.
As a part of the investigation, a vehicle of interest, a silver Nissan Dualis SUV registration number MTG725 was identified and located by Police. The owner of the vehicle has been spoken to by Police.
At around the time of Rau’s death, this vehicle along with possibly a dark coloured small hatchback type car were seen leaving Percy Dyett Drive.
Investigators are seeking the public s help as part of a Wellington homicide investigation 29 December 2020
Police believe Rau Tongia died around 4:30am on Sunday December 20 at a Percy Dyett Drive property in Karori.
They were notified about four hours later that his body had been found.
Police have spoken to the owner of a silver Nissan Dualis which was seen on CCTV leaving the street.
They are now on the lookout for a dark coloured small hatchback type car also seen in the Karori Central Business District heading towards Wellington city.
The investigation team would like to speak to anyone who has any information about either car which were driving in convoy on Karori Road at around quarter to five.
