A Manning man has been charged in Carroll County District Court after allegedly making a false report of a motor vehicle accident earlier this month. An affidavit from the Manning Police Department says 20-year-old Mason Allen Fishback contacted dispatch at approximately 7:54 p.m. on Feb. 9 claiming there had been an accident at the intersection of 11
th and Center Streets in Manning. Upon arrival, authorities located no evidence of any damage. Fishback was later cited for making a false report 911 call, a simple misdemeanor. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 4.
