Pretty much not, actually.
You do need to be aware of the fact that, on high value packages, the recipients could be liable for some import duties, though.

Is there a threshold I need to keep in mind or is it one of those depends on the item type duty situation like other countries?
My average package value is sub £200 and only really go over that sending to some distributers a few times a year (but think about it they are in the US and Japan, so not an issue).
Hi guys,
Sorry if my question sounds stupid but it’s the first time I have to incoice a company and I want to make sure I do it properly.
I’m a French national living in the UK and I started a podcast during lockdown. Did not intend to monetise it but last month an advertising agency based in France contacted me to put ads on it. They’ve done so for about 2 weeks and they now ask me to invoice them. I’m about to register as self employed.
When I signed the contract I filled in a form on which I told them I’m based in the UK and exempt from paying VAT (I hope that’s correct ?). On the bill they’ve sent me, there’s the amount I’m owed for the past 2 weeks (308 euros) and they’ve added 20% VAT. So instead of paying me 308 euros for the past two weeks, I also get an additional 62 euros which makes it 369 euros.
Hi,
We are a vat registered UK Ltd, we partner with EU suppliers who drop ship direct to our UK customers. I am trying to figure out the rules, the suppliers are also trying to figure them out but are just as confused - both small businesses.
Purchases from the supplier will be less than £135 per item through couriers.
We don’t want the end UK customer to be hit with custom clearance fees or requests for vat payment as they have already paid it when purchasing from us.
Can anyone can help on how this is dealt with from when we put in the order with the EU supplier to getting to the UK customer with correct declaration and without any fees ending up at the customers door?
So we at last have a trade deal negotiated.
Read it once the text is available - you have time now - and get onto your MP to vote for it or against it.
No guarantee it will be accepted by the politicians..
Love the EU or hate them - we will trade with them as we were going to anyway. Just may be cheaper (or more expensive) this way.

Just had the below email
Following recent announcements regarding the concerns over the new coronavirus variant in the UK, the French government have currently imposed a 48hr ban on any accompanied freight entering France by road, from the UK. Freight lorries cannot cross by sea or through the Eurotunnel and the Port of Dover has closed to outbound traffic. Ireland has also banned ferries for 48 hours. However, we are closely monitoring the situation as this could change at any point.
There are many other countries responding in a similar vein, so we expect significant disruptions to our international services. All European exports and imports will be impacted, plus Canada and we expect other countries to follow.
