The synopsis: War has broken out around Tony Vero. The golden boy of a secret crime syndicate, the Family, burns him on a job gone sour. Tony finds an out: The Family’s drug dealer goes missing. Tony places himself at odds with the syndicate by a leveraging tactic, finding their missing man for his freedom. As Tony flirts with forbidden love with the fiery Kay Falco, he doesn’t realize his investigation sets him at odds with three dangerous factions, each more sinister than the last. All three want his life, and a government investigation puts a bull s-eye on him. 

Q & A with Sr Conchetta LoPresti, sharing God s word through her hands

She grew up in Avalon, Pennsylvania, with a grandmother who didn t speak English. LoPresti didn t speak Italian, and her father busy in the grocery store he ran wasn t available to interpret for the two, so they communicated with body language and signs. After LoPresti graduated from California University of Pennsylvania, she entered the Sisters of St. Francis of Millvale, Pennsylvania, in 1970. She will celebrate her 50th jubilee of profession this year.

State Representative Priscilla Giddings (R-D7) announced last Friday, May 21, she has filed paperwork to run for the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. “I am running for Lieutenant Governor because Idaho deserves to be represented by a proven conservative,” she stated in a prepared release. “Idahoans know what they’ll get with me, I have the record to prove it. As lieutenant governor, I will be a champion for limited government, a fighter for our Second Amendment rights, a tireless advocate for the unborn,” declared Giddings. Giddings stated her conservative record is unmatched, earning her a 100 percent conservative score from the Idaho Freedom Foundation and a 96 percent lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union. She listed she fought for the grocery tax repeal, strongly supported prolife legislation, helped pass the pro-gun Constitutional Carry law, and serves as the co-chair of the Lieutenant Governor’s Education Tas
