This month, California will lift many of the COVID-19 restrictions, but this might not apply for indoor workers. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health proposed that employers keep mask and social distancing requirements in some settings until 2022. The agency also recommended that the state keep a July 31st deadline to update employer pandemic safety rules instead of lifting some of the restrictions on June 15th.
According to The Mercury News, Cal/OSHA will vote on the proposal tomorrow.
