Teen accused of robbing Meijer shoppers with fake gun arrested, police say Updated Apr 26, 2021; WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with two armed robberies reported at a Washtenaw County Meijer recently. Police were called on two separate occasions to the Pittsfield Township Meijer, 3825 Carpenter Road, on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24, for two reports of customers being robbed by a man with a gun, according to the Pittsfield Township Police Department. In both incidents the victims reported being approached inside the store by an unknown male who demanded their cellphones after showing them he had a gun, police said.

(WDIV-TV) PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 14-year-old boy allegedly robbed customers inside a Pittsfield Township Meijer store with a fake gun, police say. The robberies happened Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 at 3825 Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township. In both separate robberies on those days the victims reported being approached by the teen inside the store. The victims say he demanded their phones and was armed with a gun. During the second incident the victim refused to give the teen his phone and called police with a description of him.

Eastern Michigan grad facing 13 sex assault charges gets plea offer

An Eastern Michigan University graduate and ex-fraternity member accused of sexual assaults by nine women will weigh a plea deal in the case.  Dustyn Durbin, 24, of Frenchtown Township, currently faces 13 counts of criminal sexual conduct from reported assaults said to have occurred during his time at the school and often in his Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house. However, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor s Office has put an offer on the table, said Assistant Prosecutor Christina Hines during a Monday court appearance at the Washtenaw County Trial Court.  Hines declined to state the details of the offer until the attorneys and defendant appear next time in front of Circuit Judge Patrick Conlin.

Robinson, also known as Angel Mercedes Pritchard, died of injuries suffered in a triple stabbing that occurred in an Ann Arbor hotel on April 4. Robinson was one of three women stabbed in the incident. Thomas Robinson, Nyesha Robinson’s father, said she always was reading and studying the bible. She went through struggles, Thomas Robinson said, but through those struggles, his daughter was always fighting and making progress.
