Rosewood Elementary School teacher named Richland One s Teacher of the Year

Richland County School District One on Wednesday announced the district's Teacher of the Year and Classified Employee of the Year. Richland One Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon visited Rosewood Elementary and Hand Middle schools on May 26 to surprise the winners of the district’s highest employee awards, with flowers, balloons, plaques and $500 checks in hand. Rosewood fifth-grade teacher Sally McCants was named Richland One’s 2021-2022.

(WIS) - Lexington School District One has announced that students will still be required to wear face masks on school campuses. Superintendent Dr. Greg Little released a statement to parents and guardians regarding the Governor’s Executive Order saying: “This evening, Governor McMaster issued an executive order, Executive Order 2021-23, which allows parents to sign a form to opt their students out of wearing a mask at school. The Order still requires face coverings for students and staff on school buses (President’s Executive Order No. 13998).
