One dead in yet another motorcycle accident in Delaware County View Comments MUNCIE, Ind. For the third time in a little more than three weeks, a traffic accident involving a motorcycle in Delaware County has resulted in a loss of life. A fatal crash was reported about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday at Delaware County roads 462-E and 550-S. The victim, 42-year-old Chad Clevenger, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Gavin Greene, Delaware County s chief deputy coroner. Clevenger had worked as a police officer at IU Health hospitals in East Central Indiana, and previously was an officer with the Muncie Police Department.

A Modoc man was killed late Wednesday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a semi on U.S. 35 southeast of Muncie. Delaware County Coroner Rick Howell said Matthew Ansin, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, in the 7700 block of South U.S. 35, north of Delaware County Road 500-S. According to Stash Hellis, a sergeant with the Delaware County Sheriff s Department, the motorcyclist was southbound on the federal highway when he crossed the center line and collided with the northbound semi about 5:30 p.m.

Muncie police investigating man s stabbing death © Star Press Muncie police car MUNCIE, Ind.  City police are investigating a local man s stabbing death. Authorities on Saturday were called to a home at 1700 S. Biltmore Ave. at 1:37 p.m., Deputy Police Chief Melissa Pease said. The victim, a 24-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Delaware County Coroner Rick Howell said an autopsy would be conducted Sunday at the hospital. Pease said Saturday evening that investigators were speaking to a person of interest, and that the investigation was current and ongoing.
