The two finalists for the Willmar City Administrator position will be in town on Thursday for a day of meet and greets, interviews with staff and chamber members and the final interviews with the Willmar City Council. Willmar City Council will meet at least twice this week
The Willmar City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building. A special meeting will held on Tuesday through GoTo Meeting to interview city administrator candidates. A third meeting on May 6 is possible to narrow the candidate list. 8:00 am, May 2, 2021 ×
WILLMAR The Willmar City Council will have at least two meetings this week, possibly three.
The first will be at 7 p.m. Monday in the board chambers at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services building in Willmar. The meeting will be in person and through electronic means.

With people translating information given first in English into three additional languages, a meeting Sunday evening in downtown Willmar addressed myths and misinformation making some people hesitant to get the COVID-19 vaccine. While there were numerous questions asked about the safety of the vaccine, at least half of the 90 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine available Sunday were administered.
