Fiji Emergency Medical Assistance Team leader Dr. Luke Nasedra confirmed this at a press conference yesterday. Dr Nasedra said senior medical staff at Colonial War Memorial Hospital are putting together a tertiary health team to be stationed at Sigatoka and Rakiraki Hospitals. He said as they did not want to put the lives of those admitted at Lautoka Hospital at risk after two confirmed coronavirus community transmission cases were confirmed. “Senior medical staff at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital are putting a tertiary health team to be stationed at Sigatoka and Rakiraki Hospitals,” he said.
