February 3, 2021 Staff was reported missing after being last seen on January 28th in Dunkirk. 2/3/2021: On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at approximately 8:55 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of West Mt Harmony Road and Grovers Turn Road in Owings, for the reported unconscious female. Police arrived on the scene and placed the responding emergency medical services personnel and firefighters in service. Medical personnel were later requested back to the scene, who confirmed one patient deceased. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Updates will be provided when they become available.

Medical personnel were later requested back to the scene, who confirmed one patient deceased. The deceased was identified as Jessica Renee Staff, 33, of Dunkirk. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. 2/2/2021: Calvert County Sheriff’s Deputies are currently seeking the whereabouts of Jessica Renee Staff. Staff was last seen on January 28th in Dunkirk, MD.

January 18, 2021 UPDATE: Mrs. Printz, the missing female has been located. Thank you for your assistance. 1/18/2021: The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Amanda Kae Printz, the missing female pictured below. Printz, is 26 years old, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 130 lbs. She was last seen on Friday morning of January 15, 2021, in Huntingtown, MD in a black “newer model” passenger car. Her clothing description is unknown. Anyone with information about Amanda’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Weems at Richard.Weems@calvertcountymd.gov. Please refer to case # 21-2971.

January 18, 2021 The rapidly evolving health emergency regarding the spread of COVID-19 requires the Maryland court system to continually review and evaluate contingency planning efforts. The Calvert County Courthouse located at 175 Main St. in Prince Frederick will remain under restricted access, with new changes to operations and court proceedings effective immediately through March 14, 2021. Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, and consistent with guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Maryland Department of Health (MDH), an emergency exists for which measures continue to be required to mitigate potential for exposure for individuals visiting a court or judicial facility and judicial personnel.  The rapid increase of COVID-19 infection rates throughout Maryland requires a realignment of the phase of operations consistent with the worsening health conditions and risk to individuals visiting a court of judicial facility
