Six of a family die of suffocation in Mansehra

MANSEHRA: At least six people of a same family were suffocated to death on Wednesday when they forgot to switch off gas heater that exhausted all the oxygen in their room.
According to the police, the tragic incident occurred in Thakra Mera area on Panu Road that claimed the lives of a woman and her son along with his wife and three minor children.
Following receipt of information, a large number of area people reached the spot and shifted the bodies to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, Mansehra. After the completion of medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the heirs for burial.
Kath to get equipment worth Rs640m soon

MANSEHRA: Deputy Commissioner Qasim Ali Khan has said that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is going to supply high-tech surgical equipment and machines worth over Rs640 million for the only tertiary care health facility in Mansehra to ensure quality healthcare to patients in the district.
“I am well versed with most of the problems raised by you and assure you that most of the health issues raised by you would shortly be addressed as Saudi government pledged supply of surgical equipment and high-tech machines for the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital,” Dr Qasim told a public forum organised by the district administration at the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital (Kath) here.
MANSEHRA: A man was killed and another two injured as a result of firing in Lari Adda here on Friday. Mohammad Sher, Sherbaz and Mohammad Usman were going to the bus terminal on their way to Shitial.

MANSEHRA: Deputy commissioner Dr Qasim Ali Khan has said the Saudi government will supply over Rs640 million worth of hi-tech surgical equipment and machines for the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, Mansehra, early next year saying the initiative will help improve healthcare in the district.
“Most of the health issues raised by you will be addressed after the supply of surgical equipment and hi-tech machines by Saudi Arabia for the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital,” Dr Qasim told an open kutcheri organised by the district administration at the hospital here on Thursday.
