MANSEHRA: The district administration has sealed the New Balakot City and deployed the police and health officials after three people died of coronavirus on Saturday.
“We have sealed New Balakot City after three people died of Covid-19 within a few days,” Assistant Commissioner Sardar Jawad Marwat told reporters.
Deputy Commissioner Dr Qasim Ali Khan had ordered sealing of the locality after the death of the three persons and around dozen were found affected with the virus.
According to a notification issued by the district administration, Taj Muhammad died of the Covid-19 at Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, Abbottabad, Muhammad Rafique at King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, Mansehra, and Muhammad Bashir at the AMC.
Three killed in Kaghan valley road mishaps

MANSEHRA: Three persons were killed and four others sustained injuries in two separate incidents in Kaghan valley on Friday.
The first incident happened in Sharan area of the valley when a jeep, carrying six tourists, plunged into a ravine.
Police said a man and a woman died on the spot and four others sustained injuries.
The locals rushed to the spot and shifted the four injured to the Civil Hospital in Balakot wherefrom doctors referred them to the Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, Abbottabad.
In another incident, a boy fell into the Kunhar River and search for his body was underway.

MANSEHRA: Three persons were killed and four others sustained injuries in two separate incidents in Kaghan valley on Friday.

MANSEHRA: Four people died and seven suffered injuries when a heavy boulder struck a passenger coach on the Karakoram Highway in Lower Kohistan on Wednesday.
District police officer Zulfiqar Khan Jadoon told reporters that a huge boulder detached from a mountain struck a passenger coach, which was on way to Gilgit from Rawalpindi, in Pattan, the district headquarters of Lower Kohistan, killing four persons on the spot and injuring seven others.
He said Rescue 1122 officials and police personnel shifted the deceased and the injured to the Civil Hospital Pattan.
The police identified the deceased as Mohammad Naveed and Tufail Ahmad of Gilgit, army man Mohammad Nasir of Ghizer and Sajid Mohammad of Islamabad.
