Magistrate Kathy Crittenden will determine who was at fault during a 2019 traffic collision that left one woman with long-term injuries.
John William McMillan, 45, appeared in Grafton Local Court last week for a hearing after pleading not guilty to negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Mr McMillan was accused of failing to give way at a stop sign at the Pacific Highway and Watts Lane intersection at Harwood at around 2pm, on July 14, 2019, causing his vehicle to collide with a southbound motorcycle turning right into Watts Lane.

A disqualified driver has been tasered by police following a pursuit at Grafton early this morning.
About 1am Monday, police officers were patrolling the South Grafton area when they saw a Holden Calais on the Big River Way allegedly driving in a dangerous manner.
Police attempted to stop the driver. However, it failed to stop and police started a pursuit.
The pursuit continued for more than 40km along several rural roads before the vehicle left the road and ended in a drain off the Big River Way at Clarenza.
Officers approached the driver – a 37-year-old man – where he allegedly refused to comply with directions.

Subscriber only A South Grafton man will spend at least eight months behind bars after he was sentenced for a violent assault on his partner and a vicious attack on a nine-week old puppy. Jeremy Hockey faced Grafton Local Court on Tuesday where he was convicted after pleading guilty to assaulting police in execution of duty occasioning actual bodily harm, committing an act of cruelty against an animal, larceny, contravening a restriction of an apprehended violence order, common assault and intimidate to intend a fear of physical harm. The court was told that on September 11, 2020 the 43-year-old had got into an argument with another person while drinking at the Great Northern Hotel, South Grafton. Police were contacted, however Hockey left the hotel and was seen by witnesses walking away with a nine-week old puppy in a trolley.
