Arc, Axminster’s unique counselling charity would like to thank all of Axminster Tesco’s staff and customers for the very generous donations received as a result of the Christmas Wish Tree that was in the local branch of Tesco.
The Wish Tree was covered in a plethora of messages from thanking key workers, wishing for a baby sister to praying for world health and peace.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation is already well past this year’s fundraising goal for its annual Christmas Wish Tree campaign.
As of Dec. 17, the foundation has raised $175,909. Its goal for the 31
st year of the event was to raise $100,000 towards supporting urology services at the Health Alliance.

“We know this past year has been challenging for so many, and I continue to be amazed by the loyalty and generosity of our community,” said foundation president and CEO Mary Lou Crowley in a news release.
