Attorney To Request Bond Reduction for Bethel Street Murder Suspect

News Edge Photo The defense attorney for the 2019 Bethel Street murder suspect told a Christian Circuit Court judge Wednesday that he will be requesting a bond reduction as his client awaits trial. Shakkory Willis was arrested two years ago in connection to the fatal shooting of 20-year old Corvyan Thomas on Short Bethel Street on January 24, 2019. The Commonwealth’s Attorney then has seven days to file a response to the bond reduction motion.
