CLINTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORTS
WILMINGTON
The following information comes from incident reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly found guilty in court.
The sheriff’s office recently processed these reports:
• At 5:21 a.m. on May 1, deputies responded to a domestic violence incident occurring at a gas station on U.S. 68 North in Liberty Township. According to the report, a 29-year-old Hamilton female and her boyfriend, a 42-year-old Blanchester male, got into a verbal argument and the male threw a box at his girlfriend. No injuries were reported and suspected drugs were in use. No further details were listed.

FRANKFORT, Ind. (WLFI) The Clinton County Sheriff s Office hosted a breakfast Thursday recognizing the National Day of Prayer.
Several prominent Republican politicians were on hand for the event, including State Sen. Brian Buchanan, Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita and U.S. Rep. Jim Baird.
The three conservatives struck a harmonious tone, emphasizing unity, giving thanks and urging the country to get back on track and overcome the nation s challenges and divisions.

Sabina man given prison time

HILLSBORO A Highland County jury found a Sabina man guilty of two counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle, both fourth-degree felonies, this week and Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss rendered sentencing the same day.
Joshua J.J. Dettwiller, 29, was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment for stealing the same vehicle on two separate occasions in December 2020, plus got additional prison time for violating the terms of community control from a prior felony conviction.
According to the original indictment, the first incident occurred on Dec. 6, 2020 in Greenfield, when a woman reported that her black Dodge Caravan had been stolen from her residence overnight.
