Insecurity: Don t taste wrath of Igbos - Ohanaeze warns Miyetti Allah

The apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has warned Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, against any attempt to operate a Fulani security group in the Igbo land. Ohanaeze further warned that if the purported move by Miyetti Allah is not quelled, it may spell doom to Nigeria. The highest Igbo organization in a statement by its Secretary General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and issued to DAILY POST on Monday night, emphasized that securing lives and property of the citizenry solely lies in the hands of State Governors and the President, vowing that Ndigbo would resist such attempt to deploy any Fulani security group to man nooks and crannies of Igbo land.

Reacting to a recent statement credited to President Muhammadu Buhari shortly before he left Nigeria for a medical trip abroad that Niger is stronger when united than when divided, Amechi stated that with the present economic downturn, insecurity and instability, Nigeria is not as strong as it should when united. Amechi who spoke in an exclusive interview during the recent meeting of Anambra Elders and Stakeholders’ ANELDERS, Forum for Good Leadership, held in his country home, Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra state, said nobody is against Nigeria being united but it is Buhai himself that is dividing Nigeria through his leadership style.
