HAMILTON TWP, Wis. (KWNO)- The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a triple homicide. Sheriff Joff Wolfe said during a media briefing Friday afternoon two workers at a quarry outside of West Salem reported they found three bodies at the quarry entrance shortly before 5 a.m. Wolf said it appeared the slayings were targeted acts and there was not a vehicle at the scene. Wolf said investigators have not yet identified the victims. He called the crime scene “complex” and said the situation was fluid as investigators were gathering information. He said the bodies would be taken to Rochester for an autopsy at a later time.
