Loanie Cellard also posted a new No. 1 in the 3000 race walk, while the Tech triple jump squad had exceptional performances this weekend as they now own the No. 2, No. 4, and No. 5 rankings.
Concordia (Neb.) continues to hold down the No. 2 ranking as junior
Rachel Battershell now owns the top spot in the 400 clocking a time of 56.44c (57.19). The Bulldogs also boast eight additional top-five rankings that include all three relays and a No. 2 ranking from sophomore
Marie Forbes is now ranked second nationally in the weight throw at 18.67m (61-3), while
Isila Apkup is ranked third nationally over 200 meters at 24.63.
Iowa Central CC is back to No. 2 after a big weekend. The Tritons helped their cause by adding or bettering nine top-10 marks, which include national leaders from
Rosalie Fish in the 1000 (3:03.49) and the mile (5:15.30). That gives Iowa Central CC five No. 1 marks this season.
Barton (Kan.) CC fell one spot to No. 3 to no fault of its own. The Cougars received two big marks from their throwers this past weekend as

RRW: NCAA Cross Country Championships to Air on ESPN Through 2023

(15-Feb) One of the world’s greatest team running competitions, the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships, will be broadcast live by ESPN on Monday, March 15, and those championships will be carried by that network through at least 2023, according to a joint statement released today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and ESPN. ESPN will use their ESPNU and ESPN app platforms to deliver the broadcasts.

Grand Valley State is back at No. 1 for the second time this season. The annual GVSU Big Meet was, in fact, a big meet for the Lakers, as they continued to add to their haul of nationally ranked marks. Grand Valley State earned five marks that sit within the top-5 nationally:
Dennis Mbuta in the 800 (No. 2, 1:49.03);
Eli Kosiba in the high jump (No. 2, 2.14m/7-¼);
Jonathon Groendyk in the 800 (No. 4, 1:50.40);
Tanner Chada in the 5000 (No. 4, 13:52.62). Groendyk and Mbuta were also contributing legs of the Lakers’ national leading DMR that set a NCAA DII all-conditions best of 9:39.28.
The second-ranked Eagles traveled to Allendale, Michigan for the Big Meet and earned a pair of ranked relays in the process. Ashland clocked 3:12.18 in the 4×400 and ran 9:45.23 in the DMR, both good for No. 2 on the Descending Order List. Out of the 11 top-10 nationally ranked marks Ashland has, nine sit within the top-5 of their respective events.
