Moderate snow will likely develop from south to north from 6 a.m. Monday until 10 a.m. Monday. From 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday snowfall will be moderate to heavy. Light to moderate snow should fall in the region for the rest of Monday. Periods of light to moderate snow is expected from midnight until 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Snow could fall for 24 hours, according to Hudson Valley Weather, with the heaviest snow late Monday morning through Monday evening. 1 to 3 inches of snow could fall per hour during the peak parts of the storm. Whiteout or Blizzard conditions are possible at times

NOAA says the Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. February 2 for Broome, Tioga and Delaware Counties with total accumulation of eight to 14 inches possible.  The Winter Storm Warning for all of Northeast Pennsylvania, including Susquehanna, Bradford and Wayne Counties is in effect until 1 p.m. February 2 with an expectation of one to two FEET of snow. The Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 10 a.m. February 1 to 7 p.m. February 2 for Chenango, Cortland and Tompkins Counties.  The National Weather Service is projecting snowfall totals for the watch area to be in the six to 12-inch range.
