Cambridge School District to Host Kindergarten Q&A Livestream CAMBRIDGE, Ohio – Cambridge City School District is hosting a Facebook Livestream event on March 30 to answer questions about Kindergarten and the Kindergarten registration process for parents of children who will be entering Kindergarten during the 2021-2022 school year. Primary School Principal, April Massey, and Director of Federal Programs & Curriculum, Rose Marie Daymut, will host the event and answer questions. If your child is age-eligible for Kindergarten – five years old by August 1 – this event is designed to provide information that will help put your mind and your child’s mind at ease. A video depicting a day in the life of a Bobcat Kindergarten student also will be available following the livestream.

SALINEVILLE Southern Local’s Board of Education extended the contract of Superintendent Tom Cunningham as they look toward bringing back more students for next school year. “I’m overly excited to keep on working at Southern Local,” Cunningham said. “I love the school. I love the community and I think things are moving in the right direction. I look forward to being here for five more years. I appreciate the board’s support.”

My presence on the floor of the U.S. Senate carried a great deal of meaning for me. It also said a lot about America. A Black girl who split her childhood between housing projects in Brooklyn and St. Croix could grow up to become a member of Congress who holds a former president to account. But I was the only Black woman in the room. And although I was making the case for convicting Trump, I hadn’t been able to cast a vote in the House to impeach him. My constituents in the Virgin Islands U.S. citizens remain unable to vote for president, lack any voice in the Senate, and have only a nonvoting delegate in the House.
