Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. State Secretary of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs N.Ankhbayar had an online- meeting with Jasper Wieck, Deputy
Director General for Asia and the Pacific of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany,
on January 26, 2021.
During the meeting, the both sides exchanged information on
the situation during the COVID-19 pandemic and views on Mongolia-Germany
bilateral relations and cooperation. Both sides agreed to expend bilateral
economic and trade cooperation and on implementing projects in potential
sectors. This issue can be discussed at the Joint working group of Governments
in May of this year.

WHO has partnered with the German Government to deliver medical supplies worth 3.65 million euros to countries in the Western Balkan region. These supplies – 334 ventilators and 19 400 pulse oximeters - will equip health facilities to monitor and improve the health outcomes of COVID-19 patients, particularly in intensive care units.
