Tim Hawk | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com Facebook Share Jon Henderson walked along the runways of Bader Field just after noon on Monday talking about the new location of the upcoming Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival when he began receiving text message after text message. The messages were about Gov. Phil Murphy dropping many COVID restrictions including removing all outdoor gathering limits. This was good news for Henderson, of Good Time Tricycle Productions and the festival’s producer, who will hold the hugely popular event outside at the abandoned airport for the first time in its 16 year history.

When she receives her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree from the Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden this May, she will have done so by adhering to a strict schedule, while adapting quickly to new health regulations resulting from the pandemic and the demands for medical services. Throughout her 25-year nursing career, Nagle has held one full-time and one part-time nursing position. When she started in the Rutgers University–Camden DNP program in 2016, she began staying up late and getting up at around 4 a.m. – hours before anyone else in her family woke up – to work on class assignments and prepare for class that evening.

Warminster releases 2009 settlement with ex-cop accused of child sex abuse

Warminster allowed a former police officer accused last month of sexually abusing four boys he met on the job to quietly retire in 2009 with a “work-related disability” and collect more than $180,000, plus a monthly pension. James Christopher Carey, 53, of Cape May Court House, New Jersey, received an “honorable discharge” under the 2009 settlement, which allowed him to receive work-related disability benefits. The revelation of the retirement deal became public following Carey’s arrest last month on more than 100 counts of child sex abuse charges, as well as charges of official oppression following a lengthy Bucks County Detectives investigation and inquiry by a Bucks County Investigating Grand Jury.
